Many people value the idea of having a library in our schools but sometimes they think that SLMS just check out books and read stories to kids all day. We need to communicate with others information about the resources and services we make available to promote reading and student learning.
Using information literacy and media literacy ideas, we will look at ways to organize library websites to promote your program. We will be using LibGuides to create and share information, explore web page design and best practices for making meaningful library websites.
This will be a hands-on workshop.
