What is Discovery Ed?

Discovery Education provides engaging high-quality content, grab-and-go digital lessons, creative collaboration tools, and practical professional learning resources to give educators everything they need to engage all learners and create a lasting educational impact in any learning environment.

How To?

1. Log into DiscoverEducation: https://app.discoveryeducation.com/suite with Google Single Sign on.

2. Personalize your account- View Profile- Personalization. By choosing your interest in specific grade levels, subjects and interests, DE will be able to make sure you see what you need quicker.

3. Explore the Homepage- there are Recommended, Curriculum packs, and Channels.

4. Channels- Explore and subscribe to channels curated for you by curriculum experts.

5. Browse for resources by subject or curriculum standard.

6. Search for resources using filters- grade level, topic, publisher, language, copyright date snf/or details like closed caption and primary sources.

7. My Content- Bookmark and organize content

8. Explore Video, audio recordings, images and interactives.

9. Instructional Strategies- Examples include summarizing, citing evidence, point of view/purpose and much more.  Resources include videos and graphic organizers.

10. Studio- Create and collaborate building multimedia boards for lessons, projects and presentations

11. Professional learning- share and connect with other educators to maximize your experience.
