Google Apps for Education are free for schools to use. Students and Teachers can create, edit, and share files in real-time. Google Apps work on any computer, tablet, and/or phone.

Gmail is Google's App for email and communication
Drive is Google's App for storage. Here you will find every document, slide, spreadsheet, or picture you upload to your account
Calendar is Google's app for staying organized. It can be public or private.
Docs is Google's App for all things writing and collaborating. Anything you create can be edited from any device at any time. No more thumbdrives or forgetting an important document (or homework assignment)
Sheets is Google's App for Spreadsheets.
Slides is Google's App for presentation. Compatible with Powerpoint(Microsoft Windows) and Keynote (Apple)
Classroom is Google's App for online or blended learning
Sites is Google's App for building a class, group, or individual website. Very easy for students to use and interact with.
Hangouts is Google's App for out of school collaboration, connecting, and networking. Students can find answers to homework help and ask teacher specific questions face-to-face.
